fake hotel photos

Posted by deborahmclaren on October 8, 2010

Ran across this in the news online this morning. A reservations website, Oyster, has been tracking hotel photos and comparing them to their own photos of the same hotels. Amazing how many hotels crop their photos – whole buildings next to them to make themselves look like they are the only ones on the beach, etc. Rooms that are dressed up in photos are, in reality, sparse and without ambiance. What you see is not always what you get.
